Dennis grew up in a family of musicians, and stated playing guitar at the age of twelve. Early influences were folk and the "Beatles", but it would be the guitar sounds of Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Paige, and Carlos Santana who would send him on his musical path. Living in Tampa also led to a major Latin influence. Later, the fusion sounds of Jeff Beck, Larry Carlton, and Robben Ford, and all of the guitar greats that followed like Eric Johnson, SRV, and Gary Moore would help him hone his skills.
Dennis played in a Florida based heavy rock group before working the Sid Roudeaux Agency backing different singers, most notably Dennis Yost and the "Classics, Four" with his hits "Spooky", "Stormy", "Traces of Love" ,and "Everyday With You Girl".
After extensive travel, Dennis took a hiatus to raise a family. In 1993 he moved back to Fl and formed the band "Ricochet", and together with Steve Roberts formed "Rock Steady" in 2006.
Dennis plays artful, melodic, searing leads, with a huge tone, and adds powerful rhythms to the band!
